Technical Support Engineer - Medical device - South BirminghamHere at SRG we are partnering with an innovative dialysis medical device company based in the South Birmingham area. We are looking for a range of experience levels in Biomedical service and support engineering roles. Responsible for influencing and resolving issues across all the companies deployed clinical and homebased sites, providing support to patients, clinical nurses, and customer support staff. This role is hybrid working with most of the work being completed remotely. Offering a very competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities include:

* Conduct remote machine diagnostics with the Quanta's tools for installed systems in a clinical and home-based environment. * Promptly complete diagnostics and prepare suitable summary report with good technical arguments that explains the system behaviour, diagnostics completed, recommendations and conclusions. * Identify and report new / suspected issues / suspected trends of current issues, to the Manager - Technical Support & Reliability and seek guidance for troubleshooting. Share the knowledge gained with other engineers.* Create and continually review training documentation to support all technical support engineers, ensuring continual improvement. * Ensure adherence to the company's policies, processes, and procedures, particularly regarding QA compliance (ISO 13485, FDA etc).


* Background in Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering OR experience as a Biomedical Engineer.* Naturally curious, with a strong analytical mind and ability to solve problems effectively. * Good interpersonal skills, capable of working within and contributing to a diverse team. * Experience of working to the requirements of a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485) is desirable.
