Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer
A Global medical technology business I am recruiting for are looking for a multiskilled maintenance engineer with an electrical engineering bias within the Deeside area. Performing pro-active and reactive maintenance on electro-mechanical processing and packaging machinery. Offering a competitive salary and employment on a permanent basis and a Monday to Friday working week.
Requirements and responsibilities:
*Craft technician qualifications i.e., NVQ 4, specified PLC qualification, C&G, ONC/HNC, BTEC in an appropriate Engineering Discipline, or equivalent.*Production or Process Maintenance Engineering experience in a complex manufacturing organization within fast-paced manufacturing environments.*Experience of inverter, servo, DC drives.*Worked with circuits from 415 to 24VDC power & control.*Ability to work to engineering drawings but also can fault find and diagnose faults without using engineering drawings.*Carry out regular maintenance, PPMs and reactive, where directed.*Troubleshoot breakdowns across a range of equipment to provide minimal downtime.*Support Line Leaders and Production to facilitate production efficiency.*Maintain documentation to provide historical records of breakdowns and PPMs.*Ensure all required paperwork is kept maintained and up to date throughout the department.*Identify spares requirements and maintain stock levels as needed.*Communicate technical & operational issues, quickly & effectively to relevant departments.*Lead projects and improvements and meet due dates.*Identify and implement productivity and continuous improvements to enhance machine/process performance, and to improve business efficiencies.
