Global Project Manager

SRG are partnering with a medical technology company that specialise in the design, development and manufacture of advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence and critical care and infusion care. Offering a competitive salary and benefits package. This position can be fully remote with occasional travel on-site.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consistently project manage and deliver high priority technically complex projects to ensure completion on time within the agreed scope and to the agreed plan
  • Create detailed work plans for assigned projects which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project and establish the resources (time, money, capital equipment, etc) required to complete the project activities
  • Work with technical teams to ensure technical workstreams are planned out and integrated into master schedules
  • Provide updates on the progress of all projects/programs within remit to Associate Director PMO and review project schedules with senior management and project team members; revise schedules/plan
  • Manage compliance to both Design Control and Business processes, such as preparation for Gate reviews with core team and ensuring rigorous adherence to ConvaTec's new product development process
  • Establish a communication plan to update stakeholders on the progress of the project
  • Assess project risks and develop risk mitigation plans. Communicate risks and mitigation plans to senior leadership
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards, and when this is not the case escalate within PMO

Qualifications and experience required:

  • University Degree (or equivalent)
  • Profound experience managing new product development projects using a phase gate process
  • PMP certification (or equivalent) preferable
  • Technical experience in product development is preferable
  • Experience working within Medical Devices Industries and good knowledge of the associated Regulations
