Team Leader - Stem Cells - Cambridge

Are you experienced with IPSCs or cellular assays? Do you have experience supervising others in the lab?

If you said yes, Search by SRG are partnered with a Cambridge Biotech business to hire new Team Leaders within their IPSC team. This role is to oversee a small lab based team working across differentiation & developing new IPSCs or generating data for clients.

With a huge range of ongoing projects, you will be working on different cell types and be expected to provide in lab support to your team on a day to day basis. You will design and oversee the projects as well as having interaction with clients. If you aren't experienced within IPSCs we are considering individuals with extensive cellular assay (z-prime, 96/384 well plates etc) experience that they could apply to this role as well as some supervisory experience within a laboratory.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant educational background (Bachelors, Masters, PhD in relevant scientific topic)
  • Experience with development of a range of IPSCs or extensive experience with a range of cellular assays
  • Supervision or leadership of others/ ideally line management
  • Industrial experience within pharma, biotech (or similar environment)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak with customers or external partners
