This new role will be office based in Maidenhead, comprising 2 rotations of 12-months each providing a breadth of hands-on experience in a Finance Department. First rotation will be as Procure To Pay (PTP) Graduate - reporting to the UK PTP & Transparency Manager, working closely with the UK Procure To Pay and Transparency Team. Second rotation provisioned working as FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Graduate Analyst reporting to the FP&A manager.

Support with professional studies can be offered.

OBJECTIVES

As part of a 2-year rotation within UK Finance, this Graduate role will initially join the Procure To Pay (PTP) and Transparency team supporting the UK PTP & Transparency Manager, subsequently moving to a FP&A Analyst position reporting to the UK FP&A Manager. This role aligns to the AbbVie Early Talent Programme objective to enhance your capabilities, expand your functional skill set and provide a launchpad that will help pave the way to your ultimate career goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Procure to Pay Team (1 year) - PTP & Transparency Graduate

  • Responsibility for input and processing of HealthCare Professionals (HCPs) payments using SRM (SAP - Enterprise Resource Planning system). Ensuring Master Approval Process (MAP) status is correct prior to payment to ensure compliance to OEC requirements.
  • Partner with Cross Functional stakeholders to drive for compliant vendor payment timeliness of Healthcare Professional (HCP) commitments; Supporting P2P Concierge and Analyst in tracking events to make sure requests for payment are loaded in a timely manner.
  • Support the new vendor onboarding process, setting up vendor accounts, ensuring validation checks (Enhanced Due Diligence, AbbVie Data Classification, Supplier Evaluation Tool) are completed by the Business Sponsor in a timely manner pre-commitment of company funds.
  • Support P2P Concierge on Vendor onboarding process, performing call backs to Vendors.
  • Maintain vendor records to ensure compliance to current vendor contract terms.
  • Share learnings and observations as part of continuous improvement culture.
  • Support the UK PTP & Transparency Manager and Financial Controller in any other compliance ad-hoc projects.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team (1 year)- FP&A Graduate Analyst

Key activities when working in the FP&A team:

  • Publishing the weekly sales flash.
  • Populating all sales commentary for local management and Area management.
  • Consolidating sales & expenses from several different areas and loading into planning systems.
  • Co-ordinating and populating returns for the national office of statistics.
  • Other general ad hoc duties within FP&A, including supporting the planning cycles.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or other relevant area.
  • Ability to Communicate with proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • The ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary.
