Specialist knowledge in the use of unique flour testing equipment and educated to degree level in food related science. Has had direct involvement in BRC or closely related Quality Management System as applied to a Flour Mill environment. KEY TASKSLaboratory test analysis and reportingUse of Farinograph, Extensiograph, Amylograph, Alveograph, Ash Oven and Laboratory Mill laboratory equipment for NPD, Production, and flour investigation. Including the use of with other test analysis as necessary.Prepared to perform Laboratory test baking of production / complaint flours.
Use results to advise on specification development or revisionWork to maintain third party certification on all sites of the companyHACCP - A key member of HACCP team, assist with all elements of HACCP, and daily maintenance of outputs.Assist with Internal Audit of the Quality Management System including site GMP auditing.Assist with Non Conformance reporting and Root cause analysis.Traceability and Recall challenge of system.QMS Record Maintenance:-Outputs of the Quality Management System to include:-Pest control - Review of recommended actions a timely completion.CalibrationHygiene Record review Complaints - recording of test analysis, reporting to management team, maintenance of records.Metal Detector recordsChemical Control including COSSH recording
