An innovative biotechnology company are looking for an Operations Manager to lead their busy team. The company is going through an exciting period of transformation and now is a great time to join.

The Job

The successful Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO as part of the senior management team and will work on a variety of duties on site combining both people and technical management skills including;

  • Drive strategic decisions, focusing on the optimisation of processes
  • Managing the Operations team, mentoring them and guiding their daily priorities
  • Planning the department activities, ensuring high quality products are made while managing deadlines and budgets
  • Provide a forward-thinking mentality and drive positive change for the organisation

Your Experience

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience;

  • Significant experience with the management of operational teams
  • Proven industrial experience working with in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products
  • Familiarity working with regulatory standards including ISO13485
  • Experience working with change management would be highly advantageous
  • A degree or above in a scientific subject would be beneficial
