Chemical Engineer required for a global materials manufacturer based in North Yorkshire. Requiring a degree in a scientific or engineering subject and good statistical analysis skills Title: Chemical Engineer (Polymers)Location: North YorkshireSalary: £28,000PermanentSRG is working with an innovative materials manufacturer, based in North Yorkshire, who are well-respected in their sector and operate on a global scale. They are now looking for a Chemical Engineer to join their growing engineering department and support product development and materials manufacturing operations. The role will use and analyse process data to inform manufacturing decisions and maintain high quality in their products. It would be a brilliant opportunity for a recent Chemical Engineering graduate with some industrial experience and strong interpersonal skills. Permanent role working 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.Role / Description * Observing and gathering data from the production process to analyse information and formulate effective plans for process improvement.* Ensuring that engineering methods are delivering the required outputs and are operating correctly at the required production standards through consistent monitoring and quality control.* Working collaboratively with industry experts to conduct fault finding and troubleshooting in a continuous improvement process environment. * Cooperating with other departments to maintain the high performance of the company.Requirements:* Minimum degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering beneficial but not essential)* Experience of using statistical analysis to analyse data (during degree or in industry)* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Organised with attention to detail.* Willingness to learn.* Good team-working skillsIf you would like to apply for this position, please use the link provided.
