There is a 12 months FTC role and a permanent opportunity, operating on a 6am-7pm rotating shift pattern (Monday - Thursday, 36 hours per week).

A leading Food Manufacturing Business is currently recruiting for QC Technician to join their busy Technical Team.

The Role:

• Analysing raw materials and finished products using UV/Vis Spectroscopy, GC-FID & particle sizing techniques.
• Completing and maintaining laboratory documentation - lab records, reports, etc.
• Maintaining a high level of H&S in the lab, maintaining equipment calibration/maintenance records.

The company is looking for someone with industrial analytical chemistry experience, who is happy in a hands on contract laboratory role. Experience in the above techniques and experience in the food industry is advantageous, but not essential.
