Support/Laboratory Technician

Support/Laboratory TechnicianCentral Belt of ScotlandSRG are working with a leading manufacturing company to help them find a Laboratory/Support Technician for a key permanent role within their Quality team.This role is a great opportunity for someone with some basic lab experience to join a global name in the chemicals industry.In this role you will be responsible for:

• Calibration of lab equipment
• Assisting with sample and inventory management
• Carry out basic quality control (QC) testing using a range of wet chemistry techniques
• Carry out a variety of lab based tasks to support the QC team and ensure the efficient operation of the department
• Maintain H&S and quality standards

Requirements:

• HND/HNC or degree qualified in Chemistry or a very closely related subject
• Driving license is essential
• Ideally previous placement or industrially gained laboratory experience
• Attention to detail
• Analytical Thinking
• Proactive and well organised
