SRG is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations and Delivery Director to join a pioneering and breakthrough scientific research leader. The role holder will play a critical role in leading all core teams (IT, Data management, compliance, laboratory and administration teams) delivering into one of their key strategic programmes. As a proven and exceptional organisational leader, you will play a critical role in driving business improvement through innovation, while effectively coordinating and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

The role will centre around a key strategic programme, which is an early stage project designed to develop and deliver key platforms to the wider business, to increase scientific knowledge and timely analysis of data. This is an ambitious programme which will see expediential growth across the facility to cover a wide portfolio of internal and external projects.

Key area of responsibility:

* Ensure the company programme delivers all its production objectives, organising and overseeing productivity across the core teams

* Implement and manage effective partner relationships to allow the programme to scale

* Develop and maintain a robust compliance process to enable accurate high throughout activity

* Ownership and management of the programmes supporting IT and Data systems, creating and defining key strategies to deliver data milestones

* Oversee and manage all related administrative and communication teams

* Direct Management of a small senior team

Ideal candidates will have a proven background in large scale Operational and Project Management, ideally gained within a Technical setting, although similar industries would also be considered. Candidates must possess exceptional leadership skills and show true commitment to drive and deliver the programme milestones. Experience of working in a large-scale research or operational environment is critical and candidates must have previous experience of implementing successful change initiatives. As a forward thinking and Innovative manager, you will have experience of successfully managing and engaging teams with a shared vision to deliver true success. Candidates will hold a project management qualification and have proven project management experience throughout their career. With excellent communications skills and a strategic mind-set, you must have a successful background in implementing strategies and working collaboratively across the board.
