Quality Shift Analyst

(Either 06.00 - 14.00 or 14.00 - 22.00 on rotation)Suffolk-Cambs borderPermanent£ Competitive plus up to £5k shift allowance and company bonusRole requirements:* Testing of raw and finished samples for flavourings and fragrances ensuring adherence with agreed KPI's

* Entering results into the SAP database

* Chemical analysis of customer samples. Performing both routine and detailed investigations into internal and external non-conformance (root cause and preventative actions)

* Flagging non-conformances and ensuring that the Quality Module master data is maintained so that materials are tested against current specifications

* Routine maintenance of laboratory analytical equipment and supplies/consumables in accordance with ISO 17025

* Investigate and failed products (raw/finished) and assist with customer complaints/feedbackYour background:* BSc in a Science (or equivalent)

* Proven experience of using SAP, understanding of its' functionality and uses for recording and reporting

* Laboratory and chemical analysis experience from within an accredited food or related industry

* Background in flavour chemistry would be a distinct advantage
