I am working with an global Biotechnology company at the cutting edge of drug discovery who are looking for an experienced Principal Scientist to join their growing team based in Oxford. This is an exciting permanent opportunity with the ability to work within the leading area of drug discovery/development. My client is currently expanding their R&D function and are looking for talented scientist with extensive post-graduate experience to join them on thier journey.

My client is keen to speak with candidates that have extensive experience in genetics but also computational techniques including bioinformatics. This role will allow you to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment giving you exposure to a variety new developments within the sector.

This role is paying a market leading salary and has a benefits package to suit as they want the best candidates in the market.

The ideal candidate will have experience working specifically with bioinformatic and computational approaches to genomic and genetic datasets.

A minimum level of a Phd degree in a relevant field including computational biology, statistical genetics or related field.5+ years' experience working within drug discoveryExperience with r, bash, python or perl programming languages.
