TIG / Pipe Welder - Major Industrial Project (Germany)

Project Duration: Approx. 18 months (with follow‑on phases)
Location: Germany
Contract Type: Long‑term contract / potential permanent opportunity


The Role

We are currently recruiting experienced TIG / Pipe Welders for a large‑scale, high‑spec industrial construction project in Germany. This is a long‑term assignment with further site development planned, offering strong continuity of work for reliable and skilled trades.

The project involves new‑build industrial facilities, operating to high quality, safety and welding standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high‑quality TIG welding on process and service pipework
  • Welding of carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems
  • Reading and working from isometric drawings, weld maps and technical specifications
  • Preparation and fit‑up of pipework prior to welding
  • Maintaining weld quality to high specification and industry standards
  • Working alongside pipefitters and site teams to complete installations
  • Adhering to all onsite safety and quality procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a TIG / Pipe Welder in industrial or high‑spec environments
  • Strong experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Experience working from isometrics and weld maps
  • High attention to detail and quality‑driven approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
  • Valid welding qualifications / coding (desirable)
  • Willingness and eligibility to work in Germany
