Software Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Team Leader to lead and inspire a technical team delivering innovative solutions across HealthTech sectors, including IVD, Wearables, Sensor Technologies, Connectivity, and Drug Delivery Devices. You will act as a technical lead on medium to large-scale projects, ensuring high standards of software development and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a software team fostering a positive, ethical culture aligned with company values.

• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of software applications and systems.

• Ensure compliance with SHE, GMP, Data Integrity, and quality standards.

• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and maintain coding standards.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

• Support business development and contribute to proposals and customer engagement.

About You

• Significant technical expertise in software development and problem-solving.

• Proven experience in supervising teams and delivering complex projects.

• Strong knowledge of software medical devices or safety-critical systems.

• Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO13485) and Systems Engineering V-Model.

• Skilled in systems thinking, engineering, or integration within MedTech or similar sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree (or higher) in a Scientific/Engineering discipline with relevant industrial experience.

• Management training or supervisory qualification desirable.

• Chartered status with a professional institution preferred.
