Senior Process Leader - Heavy Industrial Operations

A well-established industrial company is looking to hire a Senior Process Leader to take charge of operations across production, logistics, and laboratory areas. This is a key leadership position responsible for optimising performance, driving operational excellence, and guiding a diverse team in a busy environment.

About the Role:
You'll play a central role in shaping both short- and long-term operational strategies while ensuring daily activities run safely, smoothly, and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership style, a solid technical background, and a proactive mindset focused on results, safety, and team development.

Key Duties:

• 
  Lead multidisciplinary teams to meet and exceed operational goals
• 
  Monitor and improve production work flows and system performance
• 
  Manage budgets, resources, and reporting for key operational areas
• 
  Champion safety and regulatory compliance across all departments
• 
  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align production with business needs
• 
  Support staff development, recruitment, and performance planning
• 
  Represent leadership in union discussions and corporate initiatives

Ideal Background:

• 
  10+ years in a senior process, production, or operations role within a heavy industry setting
• 
  Strong leadership experience with direct team management responsibilities
• 
  Demonstrated ability to deliver efficiency, quality, and safety improvements
• 
  Engineering degree or equivalent in a technical discipline; management credentials are a plus
• 
  Clear communicator
