We're looking for a dedicated EHS Specialist to lead the charge in creating and maintaining top-tier health, safety, and environmental standards at a cutting-edge manufacturing site. If you're ready to play a key role in driving a safety-first culture, this is the opportunity for you!

Role Overview:
This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across the site. The EHS Specialist will manage the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) programme, drive a safety-first culture, and support the continuous improvement of safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO): Implement, monitor, and audit the LOTO programme. Conduct risk assessments and develop procedures for staff training.
  • Safety Culture: Promote and sustain a safety-first mindset among all colleagues and contractors through behavioural safety initiatives.
  • EHS Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and corporate safety standards. Maintain training records and conduct compliance audits.
  • Incident Investigation: Guide accident/incident investigations and implement preventative measures to mitigate risks.
  • Project Delivery: Support key safety projects, including confined space management and ISO 14001 initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and execution of the site's health, safety, and environmental action plans.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • A third-level qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of LOTO procedures and safety compliance is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver training.
  • Proficient in MS Office and data analysis.
