Title: QC Microbiologist

We are currently working with a nationwide leader in delivering life-changing advanced therapies with cell and gene therapy research who are recruiting for a QC Microbiologist. As the QC Microbiologist, you will be responsible for using your quality control experience to ensure that the site's products meet the expectations of all stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Validating microbiological procedures for quality control.
• Working with the wider QC and QA teams, suppliers, and service providers to assist in the development and maintenance of GMP-compliant QC Laboratory services.
• Leading laboratory activities associated with QC, including stock control, experimental design, planning and reporting.
• Managing QC Scientists and QC Technicians within the QC team.

Experience required:

• BSc in Microbiology or closely related discipline.
• You will need to have demonstrable experience within in a biological analytical testing laboratory or an aseptic (bio) pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• You will need a minimum 2-5 years' experience in the application of EU GMP to QC operations.
