Analytical Laboratory Technician - Grangemouth - Biotechnology

SRG are delighted to be working with an exciting & innovative biotechnology company based in Central Scotland who are undergoing a period of expansion after a successful funding round. They are looking to grow their laboratory operations team by adding an analytical laboratory technician.

As an analytical laboratory technician you will be responsible for testing and processing a variety of materials involved in the company's manufacturing process. This involves the analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, site materials (e.g. water) and finished product. As part of the wider laboratory team you will be partly responsible for maintaining lab cleanliness, equipment & documentation, as well as periodic reviews of SOPs.

To be successful in this role you will;

• Have demonstrable experience utilising analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer Titration) in an industrial environment
• Rich scientific background either via experience or education
• Able to work on-site in Grangemouth

This position is fully site-based on the client's site in Grangemouth. This position operates on a rotating shift pattern;

• Week 1 - 7am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday
• Week 2 - 7am to 7pm Wednesday to Friday
