Job Description

I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Analytical Scientist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing analytical services using GC and Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on ongoing and new projects within the analytical labs
• Design and develop methodologies for a range of food and drink analyses using GC, Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP
• Respond to client inquiries regarding testing within the group
• Ensure compliance with ISO17025 requirements and quality control procedures
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or equivalent experience in analytical science
• Strong knowledge of food science and technology
• Understanding of GC and Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP techniques and their applications in the food industry
• Experience as a test signatory under an ISO17025 quality management system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
